Videoconference on Solar Physics: Fundamentals & Observations

the Department of Physics organized a videoconference on March 12, 2018, at the Visio conference room for students of theoretical physics at the University of M’sila on the topic “Solar physics: fundamenltals and observations”, presented by Dr. Raid M Suleiman of the prestigious ‘Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics’.
Dr. Raid Mr. Suleiman talked about what’s going on inside the Sun, solar winds and riddles that our star is still posing. Then, he approached the space missions dedicated to the study of the Sun such as the mission SOHO and SDO. The conference was followed by a question-and-answer session where students asked the speaker several questions.
