Rather, it requires the knowledge to understand its complexities and the control to curb its impulses and guide it in the right direction. Their excessive density has hampered social life and created practical difficulties in the management of public facilities. Furthermore, the construction of buildings that do not comply with the most basic rules of architecture and urban planning, nor with the general harmony between different neighborhoods, has led to situations that are often irreparable in the context of rational urban development. These situations are characterized by the rapid transformation of urban society, the spread of human settlements, unregulated land use, rapid population growth, the spread of illegal housing, the deterioration of the living environment, environmental problems, and more. The overall objective of the new training is to:<br \/>\u2022 Better align training with the continuous development of urban technologies. \u2022 Greater empowerment of students through personal research, exploration, analysis, criticism, and innovation, which cannot be limited to a workshop or lecture hall.<br \/>\u2022 Responding to the evolving needs of the national and regional socio-economic context. \u2022 Adapting the teaching of urban management techniques through two specializations: &#8220;Urban Engineering&#8221; and &#8220;City Management.&#8221; C &#8211; Targeted Competencies and Skills (Compulsory Specialization): The Urban Management program aims to:<br \/>&#8211; Train city managers who must have a solid foundation in urban management.<br \/>&#8211; Provide students with in-depth knowledge of urban planning tools.<br \/>&#8211; Train students to better use these tools to manage the city efficiently and reliably.<br \/>&#8211; Provide students with the necessary knowledge of appropriate graphic and technical representation to express their ideas. D &#8211; Regional and National Employability (Compulsory): Urban Management graduates must have a broad background and solid, versatile, practical and theoretical professional skills for obtaining information, making decisions, and coordinating between the various stakeholders in the city. Therefore, the targeted career paths are those of coordinators in a wide range of urban technology fields, working in the direct production system (studying and monitoring urban projects) as well as at the interface between technology and services (local authorities, organizations such as the French University of Applied Sciences, and various design offices).<br \/>E &#8211; Bridges to Other Specializations (mandatory)<br \/>The common core curriculum in the AUMV\/GTU program, which is completed over two semesters, allows for mobility between different universities offering the same
