behalf of myself and my fellow faculty members in the Department of Urban Engineering at the Institute of Urban Technology Management, I am pleased to welcome you to this electronic space. Through this space, we seek to introduce the department and the nature of the training it offers, as well as to enhance communication and information exchange with all stakeholders in the university system: students, professors, and administration.<\/p><p>The department currently offers high-quality, distinguished training at both the undergraduate and master&#8217;s levels. This training is supervised by approximately 23 full-time professors of various academic ranks who comprise the department&#8217;s faculty. Students pursue their studies in the following open specializations with scientific and technical training:<\/p><p>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree, Specialization: Urban Engineering.<\/p><p>Academic Master&#8217;s Degree, Specialization: Urban Engineering.<\/p><p>Faculty and administrators in the Department of Urban Engineering strive to instill in students theoretical knowledge related to the field of urban engineering, without neglecting the practical field of study. This allows them to acquire the practical skills they need to succeed and excel through the rich curriculum they receive throughout their studies. These courses prepare them to perform their assigned tasks, including:<\/p><p>Technical studies: Calculations of various road networks, sewage networks, wastewater, public lighting (VRD), etc.<br \/>Contributing to the preparation of various technical and implementation plans (plan to protect the city from natural and technological hazards, city traffic plan, etc.).<br \/>Contributing to the preparation of planning and construction tools: urban projects, the PDAU (Plan of Urban Planning and Development), and the Land Use Plan (POS).<br \/>Managing and monitoring construction and urban development projects.<br \/>Assisting decision-makers in making sound decisions in the field of urban engineering.<\/p><p>As a general goal, we strive to the best of our ability, and within the department&#8217;s available resources, to prepare students with modern academic training and develop and update university curricula, focusing on practical aspects to keep pace with emerging developments. This is in an effort to enhance the university&#8217;s outcomes, enrich scientific research, and contribute to serving the local community.<\/p><p>Finally, I extend my appreciation to all members of the department&#8217;s family\u2014faculty, students, and administrators\u2014for their efforts in the educational and administrative process.
