\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 At the level of each faculty in the university, the Scientific Council represents the highest scientific body, overseeing all tasks related to scientific research in parallel with administrative work. The Faculty\u2019s Scientific Council is composed of elected members representing the professors, as well as other members including the Dean, Vice Deans, Department Heads, Heads of Scientific Committees, Laboratory Directors, and the Library Director.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Scientific Council plays a central role in managing the faculty\u2019s scientific affairs. It is responsible for all matters related to academic research, such as approving Master\u2019s and Doctoral projects, proposing the opening or closure of specializations, assigning training and scientific meetings to professors, approving national and international exchange and cooperation programs, and planning and approving the faculty\u2019s scientific activities. The Council is also responsible for assigning members to doctoral defense committees. The Chair of the Scientific Council is an official member of the University Scientific Council, making the Faculty\u2019s Scientific Council the \u201cbeating heart\u201d of the faculty.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

  • Defining faculty requirements and qualifications.<\/span><\/li>\n
