We would like to inform students interested in studying abroad that applications are now open for the Hungarian Scholarship, also known as the Hungarian Scholarship.<\/p>\n
Eligible Categories:<\/p>\n
Top-ranked students in their respective fields, enrolled in the 2025\/2026 academic year (maximum of 3 students per field), in their third year of a Bachelor’s degree (L3) and wishing to pursue a Master’s degree, and enrolled in their second year of a Master’s degree or fifth year of Engineering (M2\/Ing 5) in the 2025\/2026 academic year and wishing to pursue a PhD.<\/p>\n
The deadline for registration on the scholarship platform “stipendium Hungaricum” is January 15, 2026.<\/p>\n
After registering on the platform, the application file, along with a copy of the “stipendium” registration certificate, must be submitted to the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations before January 22, 2026.<\/p>\n
The application file consists of the following documents:<\/p>\n
Application form (form attached).<\/p>\n
Certificate of online registration on the Stipendium platform.<\/p>\n
Copy of the minutes of the selection committee meeting.<\/p>\n
A written request from the applicant outlining their motivation for the proposed program, signed by their supervisor.<\/p>\n
A copy of the baccalaureate transcript. * For PhD applications:<\/p>\n
* Registration\/re-registration certificates for five years of university studies.<\/p>\n
* Transcripts for the first four years of study (L1\/I1, L2\/I2, L3\/I3, M1\/I4 for universities and university centers, or CP1, CP2, 1ASC, 2ASC for higher schools).<\/p>\n
For Master’s applications:<\/p>\n
* Registration\/re-registration certificates for three years of university studies.<\/p>\n
6. For PhD (D) applications: Transcripts for the first two years of study (L1, L2).<\/p>\n
Certificate of ranking as the top student in your graduating class (form attached).<\/p>\n
Certificate of your student’s star rating (form attached).<\/p>\n
Copy of the first page of your passport.<\/p>\n
Passport-size photograph.<\/p>\n
