We inform all students interested in studying abroad that applications are now open for the Hungary Study Scholarship<\/strong>, also known as the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship<\/strong>.<\/p>

Eligible categories:<\/strong>
Top-ranking students in their respective specializations enrolled in the academic year 2025\/2026<\/strong> (with a maximum of three students per specialization); students in the third year of the Bachelor\u2019s degree (L3)<\/strong> wishing to pursue a Master\u2019s degree; and students enrolled in Master 2 \/ Engineering 5 (M2 \/ Ing 5)<\/strong> during the academic year 2025\/2026 wishing to apply for a PhD<\/strong> program.<\/p>

The deadline for online registration<\/strong> on the Stipendium platform is January 15, 2026<\/strong>.
After completing the online registration, applicants must submit their files to the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations<\/strong>, accompanied by a copy of the Stipendium registration certificate, before January 22, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>

Application file requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>

  1. Application form (template<\/a>).<\/p><\/li>

  2. Certificate of online registration on the Stipendium platform.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Copy of the selection committee meeting minutes.<\/p><\/li>

  4. A handwritten motivation letter signed by the direct supervisor.<\/p><\/li>

  5. A copy of the Baccalaureate transcript.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

    For PhD applications:<\/strong>
    6. Certificates of registration\/re-registration for the five years of the university curriculum.
    Transcripts of the first four years of study (L1\/I1, L2\/I2, L3\/I3, M1\/I4 for universities and university centers, or CP1, CP2, 1ASC, 2ASC for Higher Schools).<\/p>

    For Master\u2019s applications:<\/strong>
    Certificates of registration\/re-registration for the three years of the university curriculum.<\/p>

    1. For PhD applications: transcripts of the first two years of study (L1, L2).<\/p><\/li>

    2. Certificate of ranking as top student of the cohort (template<\/a>).<\/p><\/li>

    3. Student star-rating certificate (template<\/a>).<\/p><\/li>

    4. Copy of the first page of the passport.<\/p><\/li>

    5. One passport-size photo.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

      Finally, it should be noted that the scholarship is funded exclusively by the Hungarian authorities<\/strong>, and that the final selection of accepted candidates<\/strong> is also the responsibility of the Hungarian side.<\/p><\/div>
