For the purpose of wider dissemination, I am pleased to announce that the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has launched the upcoming edition of the WIPO IP Moot Court Competition (2027).<\/p>\n
This edition will focus on issues related to live streaming, exploring the intersection of innovation, intellectual property rights, and their application within the digital environment.
\nApplications must be submitted by November 6, 2026. Teams must consist of two law students, each aged 35 or younger. Selected teams will have the opportunity to participate in virtual oral rounds, followed by the final rounds, which will be held at the WIPO headquarters from June 8 to 10, 2027.
\nWIPO will cover travel and accommodation expenses for the students on the teams that qualify for the final rounds.<\/p>\n
