Professor Ammar Ben Lakhrichi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages at the University of Mohamed Boudiaf in M’sila, presided over the opening of the First Virtual National Forum titled “Language and Translation in the Realm of Digital Technology: Experiences and Challenges.” In his speech, he highlighted the importance of the conference in the context of the new cultural globalization we are experiencing today, characterized by diverse lifestyles dominated by numerous and constantly evolving electronic applications, and an influx of information that requires suitable teaching and\/or learning methods and appropriate translation methodologies to achieve widespread benefit and efficient use of effort.<\/p>\n

Following this, the Dean handed over the floor to the Conference President, Dr. Shawki Bounass from the Department of English, and the sessions began, featuring contributions from participants representing 19 universities.<\/p>\n
