Abstract: This study aimed to know the impact of universities governance with its three dimensions represented in Transparency, Questioning and Participation, upon the Functional Performance of the university teacher. The descriptive approach, which is appropriate to the nature of the topic, has been followed, depending on libraries and electronic research. In addition, the research was supported by a case study in the faculty of Economics, commercial sciences, and management sciences at the University of M’sila relying on a questionnaire to mesure the impact of applying the governance of universities upon the Functional performance of the university teacher. The questionnaire was distributed on a Sample composed of 76 teachers in the mentioned faculty. After the Analysis of the data using SPSS .the study arrived to the result that each of the three dimensions of universities governance has direct positive impact on the Functional performance of the university teacher.
