أداء بيئة الأعمال في الجزائر ودوره في تنشيط الاستثمار السياحي- دراسة تحليلية

Abstract: This research aimed at addressing the role of business environment in stimulating investment, particularly in the hospitality industry in Algeria. Tourism is supposed to play, along with other sectors, an important role in generating much needed financial resources in an economy that relies heavily on oil revenues that are more than often at the mercy of changing oil prices.  The study concluded that in spite of its richness, the sector of tourism in Algeria was marginalized in terms of investment allocations, being local or international.  The analysis of performance indexes of the country’s business environment indicated that this environment was inadequate to attract foreign investment in general and in the hospitality industry in particular, due to the rigidity and complexity of administrative procedures, the high cost of projects’ implementation, and endemic corruption.
