Abstract:

This research aims to know role of public investment spending in diversifying the structure of the Algerian economy, during the period 2001-2018. By measuring economic diversification using the Herfindal index and measuring structural diversification. Our research concluded that, to government investment spending, it did not play an effective role of economic diversification, so that the contribution of exports outside of fuel did not exceed 6% of total exports, and its value HHI for 0.10.
