Abstract:

This paper aims to highlight and detect the extent to which public expenditure politics of Algeria during 2001-2018 contributes to the improvement of the standard of living in the country, to achieve that we analysed and evaluated a various standard of living indicators. The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach to undertake an analytical study of Algeria’s case during the period mentioned .we have found that there is an improvement in the standard of living in the country but it remains below the global average, and that it suffers from severe weaknesses which is fostering by the absent of radical factors as the weak productive sector
