Abstract:

E-money represents one of the most important innovations of technological progress. Electronic money, in its various forms and forms, raises a number of economic and monetary issues that need to be addressed, especially in light of the recent changes in which monetary policy operates and affects its effectiveness.

The study aims at highlighting the role of monetary policy management in minimizing the challenges that may arise from electronic money transactions by reviewing the formation of its monetary policy in response to these developments and ensuring that it does not threaten economic and monetary stability. The spread of electronic money may reduce the role of the central bank in the process of issuing money, but it will not threaten its role in the management of monetary policy.
