Abstract:
This study aims to clear up the development of Chinese currency’s position in last few years after launching its internationalization process to compete hard currencies on the different of international financial transactions, especially after its including in the SDR basket on the October, 1st 2016.
This study concluded that despite of the Yuan’s delayed position on the International Monetary System, it has been rising even with slow rates, this matter will probably make it as a real and a serious competitor against the position of other hard currencies. However, the U.S Dollar is still occupying the first place with a big distance against other competitors on the world, which makes a big difficult challenge to internationalization process of Chinese Yuan.
