Analyse du comportement des banques privées en Algérie face aux exigences réglementaires

Abstract :
This work focuses on identifying and analysing the behaviour of private banks in Algeria in the facing increasing regulatory constraints over the period 2010-2017. Based on the reports on the activities of private banks as well as all the regulatory texts promulgated since 2009, our work highlights the role of the new economic and regulatory context that is generating the defensive behaviour of private banks. This behaviour can be summarised in the following four main points : Consolidation of the core business; Slowdown in operating expenses (general operating expenses); Increase in the ratio (loans/deposits); Deferral of development plan.
