The Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Mohamed Boudiaf – M’sila – organizes an international conference, entitled “Legal and institutional mechanisms to fight against corruption; between the priority of the fight and the need for prevention”.
The conference’s works began with the speech of the president of the scientific committee, who explained the general idea of this conference and its important objectives. Subsequently, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Khadri Hamza made a speech and thanked all the audience, especially the rector of the university, the official sponsor of this conference, the president of the Popular Assembly of the province, representatives of the province security authorities, representatives of the National Commission of fighting against Corruption, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, lawyers and representatives of the judiciary, vice-rectors of the university and the deans of faculties. He indicated the importance of the topic of this conference, because it is the subject that occupies all categories of society, from the lowest to the highest level, according to the first speech addressed to the nation by the President of the Republic, in which he indicated that the fight against corruption had become a necessity imposed by reality facts.
The rector of the university, professor Badari Kamal, confirmed the importance of the conference topic for decision-makers and research circles. It is a subject that coincides with the deep problems imposed by the reality facts of the country today in all areas of life, and it can show the role of the university which assumes the responsibility of carrying out theoretical research on this reality facts, and based on the recommendations that this conference will produce, as in other similar scientific events to entrust them to the supervisory ministry. Hence, he indicated the official launching of the works of this conference.
It should be mentioned that the rector of the University, Pr. Badari Kamal, indicated in the margins of the work of this conference that the University of Mohamed Boudiaf -M’sila- is preparing to sign a partnership agreement with the Popular Assembly of the province, for the same objective of the openness of the university to its socio-economic environment and assuming its responsibility towards the society in all fields and on the local, regional and national levels.
This conference was marked by the presence of a large number of students, teachers, specialist researchers, the media team, whether at the main sessions or workshops, which contributed to enrich the debate on the theme of the conference.
