Ground floor: includes the storage of books that concern students and professors in the field of specialization, with two internal offices and a hall to receive students and professors.
First floor: contains a reading room and a thesis/dissertation room.

Lending Department
This department carries out the following tasks:
Monitoring the registration process in the library for professors and students
Monitoring the internal and external borrowing process for professors and students
Renewing lost library cards
Granting clearance certificates for graduating students

The services provided by the library include:

Automated Research
It includes the use of the library’s automated catalogs to search for information sources inside and outside the library.
Beneficiaries can conduct automated searches from inside or outside the library via the Internet in Arabic and French for all the library’s holdings.

Documentary Collection Management Department
This department coordinates between the agents in charge of processing at the storage level to determine the list of new acquisitions, process them, and then enter them into the borrowing system.
Its main features:
Ensuring all types of cataloguing operations
Automated entry of catalog cards
Providing the annual report on the documentary collection
Guidance and Bibliographic Research Department
Among the tasks and services of the department:
Ensuring bibliographic research for researchers and training beneficiaries on how to use library tools
Managing the process of cataloguing the library’s general indexes through descriptive and analytical cataloguing
Receiving, guiding, and directing students and professors
Providing information on the borrowing system and internal regulations
Bibliographic research: the department has an automated catalog, where students and professors can carry out bibliographic searches by indexes (authors, titles, and subjects)
Supervising interns and students of the Institute of Documentation and Libraries as part of their practical training
