Faculty Academic Council – Science
The Faculty Scientific Council is an academic advisory body composed of professors and teaching staff members specialized in various disciplines within the faculty. Its primary role is to provide scientific and administrative guidance to ensure the quality of teaching and research.
The main duties of the Scientific Council include:
Oversight of Academic Programs:
Reviewing study plans and academic programs to ensure their alignment with scientific and academic standards.Approval of Scientific Research:
Examining research proposals and scientific projects submitted by faculty members or students, and providing recommendations regarding them.Awarding Academic Degrees:
Deliberating on and approving the awarding of doctoral and master’s degrees, as well as evaluating final theses.Development of Academic Policies:
Proposing recommendations to develop curricula and academic programs in line with scientific advancements.Review of Academic Promotions:
Assessing promotion applications submitted by faculty members according to established criteria and conditions.Monitoring Academic Performance:
Evaluating academic and research performance within the faculty and proposing necessary measures for improvement.
