Visit of the Minister of Youth and Sports

Today, November 10, 2021, the University of M’sila had the honor to receive, at the Auditorium of Iben El Haitham, the Minister of Youth and Sports Mr. Abderrezak Sebgag during his work and control visit  to the Province of M’sila.

He was greeted by the Prefect (Wali) of the Province, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, local authorities, university community, members of the security committee and the media staff.

After the national hymn, The Minister gave a welcoming speech. Then,  the Prefect (Wali) welcomed the audience, mentioning  the lifting of suspension of various projects recently in the sector, as well as addressing the results obtained by the young athletes  of the Province at the national, Arab, African, and global levels.

Then, the Minister Abderrezak Sebgag addressed the importance of the sector and the Developmental programs provided by the State for Athletes and Young people in general.

The projects registered in the youth and sports sector were presented. It was indicated that most of them are now subject of lifting of suspension through various municipalities as part of the Fund’s High Plateaus program.

In this event, Outstanding  athletes in various sports disciplines, whether at school or university were honored, and outstanding athletes in various activities, including university students with the best innovative projects. In addition, Professor Ben Chikh Mohamed,  was honored, who has 3 patents by the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) in the field of architecture and geological materials, which is the most important inventor in Algeria in his field pending the completion of two new patents under the examination..

As well as, Prof. Bouarissa Nadir, from the Faculty of Science, one of top ten international scientist in Physics according to the last classification.

In conclusion, the discussion was opened by The Minister with the actors of the youth sports collective movement to present the shortcomings and listen to the various concerns raised in the Province
