The meeting was opened by the Rector of the University of M’sila, Pr. Kamel Baddari, after welcoming all the audience. The meeting adopted the following agenda:

1/- Pedagogical Situation
In the context of the pedagogical situation during this week, many points have been discussed:
the attendance learning period is resumed for 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor students.
Pedagogical meetings were held with students representatives and organizations at the level of faculties and institutes in order to evaluate the learning process and prepare exams schedule for Semester 01 as follows:

02/- QR Code:
In this regard, statistics were provided of strengths of the professors through pedagogical activities using the QR code after each class taught according to each faculty and institute:
Faculty of technology: 67 summaries.
Faculty of Humanities and social sciences: 259 summaries.
Faculty of Arts and languages: 42 summaries
Faculty of Science: 35 summaries.
Economics, commercial and management science: 87 summaries.
Mathematics and computer science: 26 summaries.
Institute of techniques of physical and sports activities: 09 summaries.
Faculty of law and political science: 48 summaries..
Institute of Management of urban techniques: 14 summaries.

03/- E-learning:
In this regard, the manager of the university’s E-learning cell, Dr. Zemmit Abdelrahim, provided a presentation on the process of distance learning in terms of the outcome of the use of the site from December 01 to 07, 2021, which reached 18773 users, 15563 downloaded files, an estimated number of 28803 pages, in addition to 67 distance videoconference lectures via Big Blue Button.
Technical and regulatory measures have been adopted as follows:
Deletion of 236 empty syllabus on the platform from faculties and institutes.
Updating the lessons content and confirm its conformity to hybrid learning standard; which reached 112 syllabus
All of the 278 technical problems of students were resolved.
All of the 52 technical problems of professors were resolved.
16 certificates of posting online lessons via the Moodle platform have been issued.
04/ A startup … a degree:
In this regard, evaluation meetings were held in each faculty and institute in order to provide total of graduation projects which are part of the new formula created by the University of M’sila “A degree represents a startup”. Thus, 27 projects, divided between the faculty of Science and the Faculty of Humanities and social science, are supposed to be subject to this formula.

05/ Progress:
The total of the achieved processes on Progress consist of:
Registration and re-registration which include almost 337000 students.
Grouping process
Recording the marks

 

06/ Digitization:
*Tender Platform: In this regard, a meeting for evaluation was held concerning the Tender platform in presence of the Vice-rector for Development and Foresight Prof. Hind Boutaba in coordination with the director of Digitization Dr. Heraguemi Kameleddine. Suggestions and adjustments were provided in order to launch the platform soon.
*Electronic signature system: A training session was carried out in the directorate of digitization for employees, among the category of secretary of directorate.
*Complaints and enquiries platform: 07 inquiries were received and answered.
Different Rankings were subject to discussion such as: Shanghai – THE – Scimago – QS – Google Citation
A presentation provided by the Faculty of Arts and Languages on a program developed using “ICT” enabling the preparation of the graduation certificate automatically from Progress database, and each certificate is integrated with QR code. It helps to avoid spelling mistakes and to do distance work. Also, It’s a practical mean to allow all external institutions to verify the authenticity of the data of holders of the E-certificate of graduation.

07/- Procedure of bringing the university closer to its socio-economic environment:
The University’s business incubator organized the 11th edition of the National Exhibition of Innovation under the slogan “Your Idea is Your Innovation” to celebrate this Day, which falls on December 7th each year, in partnership with the International Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization and the National Institute of Industrial Property, with the participation of the Directorate General of National Security.
The Exhibition took place in the Coworking Space at the Incubator. More than 100 inventors and exhibitors from across the country and 37 young geniuses from four provinces have participated in this event.
According to the strategy of the University and due to the importance of the content of the Doctoral proposal in Electronics related to artificial intelligence, it was decided to accept the proposal by members of the CC Council headed by Prof. Kamal Badari. Also, it was decided to exempt and not involve anyone; who proves links among relatives or friend, in participating in the preparation of questions or correction; (ie) the members of the Training Committee in the Doctorate in order to preserve the integrity and transparency of the competition this year.
At the end of the meeting, the Doctoral Hall was inaugurated at the Institute of Management of Urban Technique and named after the late Professor Hosseini Rabah, a former professor at the Institute, in memory of his pure soul.

The meeting was adjourned the same day at 18h
