Opening of the National Innovation Training Workshops organized by the Business Incubator at the University of M’Sila

As part of the implementation of Ministerial Decision 1275, on Monday, May 15, 2023, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, the Governor of the province, inaugurated the National Innovation Training Workshops organized by the Business Incubator at the University of M’Sila on May 15 and 16, 2023.

In coordination with the National Coordinating Committee for Innovation Monitoring and University Business Incubators, the workshops took place at Ibn Al-Haytham Auditorium, the university’s main lecture hall.

Deans of colleges and directors of institutes

President of the Eastern Universities’ Business Incubators

Regional Coordinator for the Eastern region of Algeria in the National Coordinating Committee for Innovation

Department Heads, holders of innovative ideas and projects

The meeting began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the national anthem. This was followed by a speech by the Director of the Business Incubator, the Director of the University, and then the Governor of the province, who officially inaugurated the training workshops. A certificate of appreciation was awarded to the University of M’Sila’s Business Incubator for its national achievements. During the first day, several workshops were held, focusing on:

The first workshop: Preparation of the technical card for the project, presented by Professor Chabane Baaitiche, as part of the training days supervised by the members of the National Coordinating Committee for Innovation Monitoring and University Business Incubators.

The second workshop: Business Model Canvas, presented by Dr. Fouzia Bersouli, a member of the National Coordinating Committee for Innovation Monitoring and University Business Incubators, for the benefit of students enrolled under Decision 1275, as supervised by the members of the National Committee.

The third workshop: Dedicated to students of digital programs and platforms, presented by programmer Madjidi Idriss, who has received several awards from Apple and is the founder of a software startup. The session was moderated by Dr. Widad Salhi, the Director of Techno Pole Hadhaba Constantine and a member of the National Coordinating Committee for Innovation Monitoring and University Business Incubators.

The meeting also included individual sessions to address the concerns of students participating in Decision 1275.

On the second day, the fourth workshop was presented by Dr. Youssef Brik, a member of the National Coordinating Committee for Innovation Monitoring and University Business Incubators and the responsible person at the Technological Support and Innovation Center. The workshop focused on the process of patent registration from idea to filing.

The closing ceremony witnessed acknowledgments and honors for all the participants and organizers of these workshops.
