The 67th Anniversary of Student’s Day, May 19, 1956-2023

  On the occasion of the national celebration of Student’s Day, which is held on the 19^th of May each year, the festivities honouring this occasion were taken place at Mohamed Boudiaf University in M’sila. The event was attended by the Governor of the province, Abdelkader Djalaloui, as well as civil and military authorities. The university family, headed by the university director, Professor Amar Boudelaa, welcomed the Governor and his accompanying delegation.

During the occasion, there was a gathering of provincial, military, and university authorities, followed by the raising of the national flag at the Student Square in the university campus, accompanied by the Algerian national anthem.

A wreath of flowers was also placed at the memorial monument dedicated to Student’s Day, and a prayer (Fatiha) was recited in remembrance of the martyrs. The statement of May 19, 1956, was read, and afterwards, the Governor of M’sila, along with his accompanying delegation, were invited to honor the outstanding students in various national sports competitions.
