Activities of the University’s Academic Year Closing Ceremony 2023/2022

On the morning of Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila organized the closing ceremony of the 2022/2023 academic year at the Ibn Al-Haytham Auditorium in the university campus. The closing ceremony saw the attendance of the Attorney General of the Judicial Council in M’Sila, various executive directors in the province, university staff, social partners, and media representatives.

Professor Ammar BOUDELAA, the university rector, delivered a speech after welcoming the audience, highlighting the achievements and innovations of M’Sila University during the current academic year. He also emphasized the university’s community partnership through the signing of several agreements at the local and national levels. He acknowledged the role that M’Sila University played in the fields of digitization and digital governance, as well as its national and international rankings.

The ceremony witnessed several highlights, including:

  • Viewing a short video titled “The University of Innovation and Excellence.”
  • Signing a framework partnership agreement between M’Sila University and the local employment agency ANEM in the province.
  • Honoring outstanding students during the previous academic year, including master’s and bachelor’s degree students from various faculties and institutes (18 students in total).
  • Recognizing students who have obtained patents.
  • Honoring five-star students.
  • Recognizing top-ranking research professors based on citations :
    • Hamdi Ben Dheif.
    • Djrioui Ali.
    • Amroun salah.
    • Gharbi Hamza.

Additionally, Professor “Atallah Bilal” was honored for his outstanding contributions to the field of electrical and electronic engineering by the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The ceremony also included the recognition of internationally outstanding students from each faculty and institute, as well as the honoring of students with disabilities who have excelled academically. The scientific club “Ibdaa” in the field of media, journalism, and digital media was also honored.

The Deputy Rector of Cultural and Sports Activities at the university, Mr. Abdelkader LAGRAA , was also recognized during the ceremony.

To finish, a revolutionary anthem was performed by Firka Nohassiya al-Hillal  (Brass Band the Crescent) to commemorate the sixty-first (61st) anniversary of Independence and Youth Day. Commemorative photos were taken of the outstanding students, university staff, and social partners of the university.
