| معلومات عن المقال | Abstract:This scientific paper aims to highlight the importance of media education in the contextof the technological developments of the media and communication and Its role inprotecting young people and adolescents from being exposed to the phenomenon ofintellectual extremism that has become one of the problems facing societies in variouscountries of the world, especially Arab-Islamic societies. By providing them with toolsand skills that are organically linked to the digital environment, they are led to acquire acritical sense that elevates them from the negative consumption of digital media contentand their immunity that makes them able to understand and deal with them consciouslyand securely. Therefore, media education has become a necessary requirement for theintegrity of the value and moral construction in Arab societies and confront what isbroadcast by the media and its application in our Arab societies needs to intensifyefforts related to education, media and social institutions.
