Some snapshots from the training day held for PhD students specializing in English language and literature today on April 10th, 2025. The event was attended by university vice-rectors Dr. Djarbouai Salim and Dr. Ayed Lamine, along with the president of the CNAS, the PhD training team, and the faculty’s administrative staff—including department heads, vice deans, and heads of programs and fields of study.
The session was officially opened by the Dean, Dr. Henni Lakhdar, who welcomed the students and guests with a heartfelt speech. We’re indeed grateful for his continued support in promoting scientific research within the faculty.
Dr. Djarbouai, the Vice-Rector, also presented a number of promising research initiatives aimed at significantly enhancing training quality. Notably, one of the initiatives involves inviting professors from the United Kingdom to contribute to teaching and supervision.
The Head of the English Department, Dr. Hamoudi, kindly welcomed the students as well who introduced themselves.
During the seminar, Dr. Senoussi Mohammed, Vice-Dean, delivered a presentation explaining the doctoral training regulations and highlighted the importance of researchers establishing a digital identity. Dr. Bennaa Youssouf, head of the PhD training team, also outlined the main goals and structure of the program.
