Minutes of Concertation and Coordination Council Meeting No 162

On Wednesday, November 26, 2022, the CCC meeting No 162 was held, at 14h00, in “Abdelmadjid Allahoum ” auditorium, under the chairmanship of the Rector of the University, Pr. Ben Ouadah Hachemi, in the presence of:

The meeting was opened by the interim Rector of the University of M’sila, Prof. Hachemi Ben Ouadah, after welcoming all the audience. The meeting adopted the following agenda:

 

  • A minute of silence was observed for the death of the student Zinebou Mohamed Salem.
  • Installation of different local committees.
  • Pedagogical situation
  • Digitization
  • Digital Marketing
  • D-Space Status, statistics compared to other national universities, Status of managers of laboratories whose term of office is over
  • Dialogue with social partners, meetings with students associations drawn up on reports.
  • Financial situation
  • Administrative situation
  • Miscellaneous

At the beginning of this meeting, the Board members observed a minute of silence for the death of the student, from Sahraoui Arab Democratic Republic, Zinebou Mohamed Salem: 3rd year law Student at university of M’sila.

2/-  Pedagogical situation:

The vice-rector of pedagogy, the deans of faculties and the directors of institutes  made a presentation on the pedagogical situation of this week, which contains:

  • the normal functioning of lectures and its progress rates during week 6 and 7 at the level of faculties and institutes.
  • The process of students cards delivery, which will be carried out at the level of faculties and institutes.
  • Follow-up on the absences of permanent and provisional professors.

A preliminary pedagogical calendar will be established for the academic year 2022/2023, then presented to the members of the board for discussion and approval.

During this session, many other points have been discussed such as:

  • Activate the strengths of lectures with QR code by professors.
  • Meetings of subjects committees and training committees, waiting to send the reports to the vice-rector of pedagogy.
  • Sending the program of tutorship by the faculties and institutes to the vice-rector of pedagogy.
  • Entry and out Winter holidays reports will be signed in attendance in conjunction with the election of joint committees.
  • Listen to the students concerns by Kacemi Abdelkader “Representative of the students”.

 

 

03/- Situation of University Security:

The CC board decided handing over the security of principal entries of the university to the faculties from January 2023, as follows:

  • Security at the level of Ichbilia entry assumed by the faculty of Arts and Languages.
  • Security at the level of “500 lgts” entry assumed by the faculty of Humanities and social science.
  • Security at the level of “Centre for intensive language teaching” entry assumed by the faculty of Economics, Commercial and Management Science.

It is decided also:

  • Deans of faculties and directors of institutes should intensify monitoring patrols on security agents
  • Send the needs of faculties and institutes for agents to the Rector of the university.

 

04/- Digitization:

Many points have been discussed about the digital platforms during this week:

*Electronic signature system (Electronic parapheur): A presentation on administrative e-correspondence was made according to each service at the university; which reached 66 certified correspondence.

*Complaints and enquiries platform: 20 enquiries were received, still being processed.

*E-stage Platform: It was closed now. the vice-deans of scientific research begin reviewing and assessing the application files on the platform by. The deficiencies on this platform will be addressed later.

*Platform of final diploma: 04 requests are registered this week.

* The subscription of professors to learn English in the “Centre for intensive language teaching” is ongoing on Digital Work Space “DWS” during next weeks.

05/- Digital marketing:

In this regard, the manager of the Network Center, Lakhdari Abdallah, presented the statistics on the state of the external links of the university this week, according to each faculty and institute. As well as, the university situation among national and international rankings is presented by Dr. Boudia Issam; Qs-Impact ranking-D-space.

06/- Financial and Administrative Situation:

– Financial Situation:

Budget of faculties and institutes.

Payment of back wages before the end of this year.

– Administrative Situation:

Launch of Assistant lecturer competition.

Situation of computer science engineers in faculties and institutes.

At the end of the meeting, the following points have been discussed as follows:

  • A coordination meeting will be scheduled to study and prepare for the accompaniment of startups that obtained a “Label” according to the correspondence of the supervising ministry.
  • Prepare for training courses for the benefit of local administration employees in the framework of the agreement signed with the Prefecture (Wilaya).
  • A presentation will be made next meeting to present the annual program of university cultural and sports activities.

The meeting was adjourned the same day at 18:30.
