Minutes of Concertation and Coordination Council Meeting No 163

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the CCC meeting No 163 was held, at 14h00, in “Abdelmadjid Allahoum ” auditorium, under the chairmanship of the Rector of the University, Pr. Ben Ouadah Hachemi, in the presence of:

The meeting was opened by the interim Rector of the University of M’sila, Prof. Hachemi Ben Ouadah, after welcoming all the audience. The meeting adopted the following agenda:

  • Pedagogical situation
  • Digitization
  • Digital Marketing
  • D-Space Status, statistics compared to other national universities, Status of managers of laboratories whose term of office is over
  • Financial situation
  • Administrative situation
  • Miscellaneous

 

01/-  Pedagogical situation:

Regarding the pedagogical situation for this week, the RCC members addressed the following points:

  • Announcement of the pedagogical calendar for the academic year 2022/2023.
  • Activate the strengths of lectures with QR code by professors.
  • Meetings of subjects committees and training committees.
  • Continuing of tutorship activities within faculties and institutes.
  • Evaluation of tutorials and practicals.
  • Holding pedagogical meetings with students representatives to prepare the exams schedules.
  • The exams calendar of semester 01 must be announced before the winter holidays on the official websites of the university.
  • All the pedagogical works must be announced on the Digital Student Space.
  • Listening to the students concerns by their representatives.

04/- Digitization:

Many points have been discussed about the digital platforms during this week:

*Electronic signature system (Electronic parapheur): A presentation on administrative e-correspondence was made according to each service at the university; which reached 178 certified correspondence.

*Complaints and enquiries platform: 34 enquiries were received, 15 of which have been answered and 19 still being processed.

Regarding the management of the monitoring office of the digital strategy, Dr. Fares Mezrag has been appointed as president, who will be responsible of the tasks according to the instructions of the supervising ministry. He will present in the next meeting an explanatory presentation on the roadmap adopted by the Office.

03/- E-learning:

The head of the distance learning cell, Dr. Zemmit Abderrahim, presented a report on the e-learning process from 09 to 23 November, 2022; the number of users reached 2830, with a number of 85000 downloaded files and 125000 pages/day.

On the other hand, a presentation was made on the digital student space of the DWS to explain the method of dissemination, and which also includes the statistics of administrative minutes and announcements according to each faculty and institute during the period from October 05 to November 23.

04/- Digital marketing:

In this regard, the manager of the Network Center, Lakhdari Abdallah, presented the statistics on the state of the external links of the university this week, according to each faculty and institute. As well as, the university situation among national and international rankings is presented by Dr. Boudia Issam; Qs-Impact ranking-D-space.

05/- Dspace:

Regarding the situation of Dspace, Prof Boudrah Brahim, presented the state of play of the institutional repository of the university, as well as the situation of laboratories and doctoral training offers for the current year.

06/- Financial and Administrative Situation:

– Financial Situation:

performance bonus of the 4th trimester.

Budget of faculties and institutes.

Payment of back wages before the end of this year.

– Administrative Situation:

Technical study of external employment competition files.

Tenure situation of employees.

Status of specific posts and their distribution.

Final employment results of employees.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Sports Activities, Mr. Lagraa Abdelkader, presented the annual program at the University of M’sila.

The meeting was adjourned the same day at 17:00.
