The General Secretariat is responsible for the following :
1. Ensuring the career path of university users while respecting the powers of the faculty and the institute in this field.
2. Preparing the University's Budget and Monitoring its Implementation.
3. Ensuring the Monitoring of Funding for Laboratory and Research Unit Activities.
4. Ensuring the Smooth Operation of the University's Shared Services.
5. Developing and Promoting Cultural and Sports Activities for the University.
6. Ensuring the Monitoring and Coordination of the University's Internal Security Plans in Coordination with the Ministry of Internal Security Office.
7. Ensuring the Management and Preservation of the Archives and Documentation of the University Administration.
8. Ensuring the Management and Operation of the University's Office of Organization.
The General Secretariat, which includes the General Organization Office and the Internal Security Office, includes the following sub-directorates :
1. Sub-directorate of Personnel and Training.
2. Sub-directorate of Finance and Accounting.
3. Sub-directorate of Means and Maintenance.
4. Sub-directorate of Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities.
