Center for Technology Support and Innovation

The Center for Technology Support and Innovation at Mohamed Boudiaf University in M’sila was created within the framework of the partnership and cooperation agreement between the university and the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property signed on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.

This partnership specifies the terms and conditions for the establishment of the center in order to ensure services that meet the needs of users from professors, researchers, and students in the field of information technology while ensuring the protection of their intellectual and industrial property.

Ceremonies for signing the agreement to establish the center:

The inauguration of the Centre is part of the opening of the University of M’Sila to its economic and social environment. The Centre’s office has been allocated to the headquarters of the Business Incubator. Professor Ahmed Mir has been appointed as the first coordinator of the Centre.

On April 24, 2024, Dr. Youssef Brick was assigned to run the Center for Technology Support and Innovation as Professor Mir Ahmed’s successor.

6. Providing basic information on intellectual property and industrial laws, management and strategies, and technology exploitation and marketing.
7. Meeting the requirements for filing patent applications.
8. Providing information on how to file patent, trademark, design, and industrial model applications, and assisting in drafting and filing patent applications nationally and internationally.
9. Accompanying and supporting researchers to develop their ideas for obtaining patents.
10. Providing the necessary training in the field of intellectual property, industrial property, and patents.
11. Cooperation and exchange of expertise with all institutions and bodies related to the tasks of the center.
