The First National Conference on Structural and Materials Mechanics (SNMSM’25)

📅 Day One – Wednesday, October 29, 2025
In a distinguished scientific atmosphere, the “Ibn Al-Haytham” lecture hall hosted this morning the activities of the first day of the First National Conference on Structural and Materials Mechanics (SNMSM’25), organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on October 29–30, 2025, under the supervision of the University President, Professor Ammar Boudlaa.
🔹 The session was opened with speeches by:
Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Dr. Abdelkader Jerad
And a welcoming speech by the president of the conference, Dr. Cherif Saib,
It was followed by the opening scientific session delivered by Professor Hussein Ousmani from Setif 1 University, entitled:
“Multi-instrumental analysis of composite damage.”
Then came the second session, presented by Professor Younes Ben Arioua from the University of M’sila, entitled:
« Elaboration and characterization of certain coatings applied in industry »
The morning session included a poster session (Poster Session 1), in which researchers from various national universities participated with rich presentations addressing the latest topics in the field of material mechanics and new energies.
🏅 At the end of the morning session, the professors who delivered the keynote presentations were honored in recognition of their valuable scientific contributions and their enrichment of the academic discussions during this distinguished scientific event.
📚 The first day concluded with fruitful scientific discussions that embodied the spirit of cooperation and the exchange of expertise among professors, students, and participating researchers.
