📅 Day One – Wednesday, October 29, 2025
In a distinguished scientific atmosphere, the “Ibn Al-Haytham” lecture hall hosted this morning the activities of the first day of the First National Conference on Structural and Materials Mechanics (SNMSM’25), organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on October 29–30, 2025, under the supervision of the University President, Professor Ammar Boudlaa.
It was followed by the opening scientific session delivered by Professor Hussein Ousmani from Setif 1 University, entitled:
“Multi-instrumental analysis of composite damage.”
In the afternoon, the activities continued with parallel oral sessions held in halls L29 and L30 at the faculty. These sessions featured applied research on mechanics, composite materials, renewable energies, numerical modeling, and modern industrial technologies, in addition to the second poster session, which witnessed fruitful interaction between researchers and attendees.
📚 The first day concluded with fruitful scientific discussions that embodied the spirit of cooperation and the exchange of expertise among professors, students, and participating researchers.
