Bachelor's Degree Training
After obtaining the Baccalaureate certificate and enrolling in university, the training in this phase begins, which lasts three years. Each year is divided into two semesters, after which the student graduates with an academic or professional Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to Baccalaureate + 3 years).
Each semester has educational units, courses, credits, and a GPA:
- A student earns course credits by achieving a score of 10/20 or higher in the course’s GPA.
- Unit credits are earned by passing all its courses with individual scores of 10/20 or higher, or by compensating between the courses within the unit.
- Semester credits are earned by passing all courses in the semester with individual scores of 10/20 or higher, or by compensating between the courses within the semester.
- Advancement from one semester to another within the same year is automatic.
- Advancement from one academic year to the next requires achieving a GPA of 10 or higher in each semester or by compensating between the semesters.
- A student may progress from one year to the next with conditions determined by the regulations of the educational system.

- Decree No. 714 dated November 3, 2011, details the methods of student ranking.
- Decree No. 451 dated December 9, 2012, specifies the characteristics of the temporary success certificate in the training cycles leading to the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Decree No. 452 dated December 9, 2012, specifies the characteristics of the transcript in the two cycles of studies leading to the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Decree No. 453 dated December 9, 2012, defines the characteristics of the descriptive document accompanying the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Decree No. 992 dated August 1, 2022, specifies the methods of registration and re-registration for training leading to bachelor’s, master’s, state engineer, and architect degrees, as well as the methods of organization, evaluation, and progression in these programs.
