The National Conference on University Youth and Irregular Migration

Upcoming Academic Event: National Forum on Illegal Immigration Organized by the Life Skills Laboratory. Best of luck to all interested researchers.

Problem Addressed by the Forum: Our contemporary era is witnessing rapid changes that young people, especially students, are struggling to cope with. Economic and social challenges make them vulnerable to various setbacks and problems that can negatively impact their academic performance, health, and even threaten their lives. Young students often perceive Western countries or other foreign nations as their ultimate destination through online interactions and media exposure, creating unrealistic expectations. This can lead them to either remain trapped in this imaginary world or impulsively embark on dangerous journeys, such as crossing the sea in overcrowded boats. Immigration has become a common aspiration among many young people today, despite the tightened security measures in both destination and departure countries. Illegal immigration, in particular, involves crossing borders clandestinely and residing in another country without proper authorization.
