On the occasion of World AIDS Day, which coincides with the first of December each year, and under the supervision of Rector Boutarfaya Ahmed. The sub-directorate of cultural activities, in coordination with the health department of the wilaya of M’sila and the faculties of science, literature and languages, organised an awareness-raising day under the slogan AIDS-free generation. The event was attended by medical specialists from the health department, Dr Mohamed Merniz, a doctor specialising in internal diseases, psychologist Bou Allaga Fatima Zohra and legislative science teacher Yahia Azzeddine from the University of M’sila. The speakers focused on the dangers of this disease, discussing the various medical and legislative methods of prevention, with particular emphasis on the psychological aspect of the patient and his or her environment. A question and answer session between the students and the speakers was scheduled for the day.
At the end, a tribute was paid to the participants in this awareness-raising day.
