An invitation to nominate for the national competition to select the best works of doctoral students 2023/2024

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces a competition to select the best 3 doctoral works, on the occasion of National Student Day on May 19, 2024.

Participation conditions:

The student must be regularly registered in the doctoral program for the academic year 2023/2024.

The research topic must be included in one of the three national strategic axes: energy security, food security, and citizen health.

The student must not have defended his thesis before April 18, 2024 (the deadline for submitting applications).

The student must have at least one B-category publication indexed in the SCOPUS database

Evaluation process:

Files are evaluated by a committee formed within each university institution.

Institutions send the first 3 files to regional seminars for regional evaluation.

After that, a national evaluation takes place to select the best 3 works

Period for submitting nominations:

From Sunday 7 to Thursday 18 April 2024.

How to submit nominations:

Nominations are submitted to the highest level of the Institute  before April 18, 2024.

Nominations must be attached to all digital files containing supporting documentation for the works.

Awards:

The winning students will be honored during a ceremony that will be organized on the occasion of National Student Day.

The deadline for applications is April 18, 2024.
