A word from the Head of Department
It is my great pleasure to address the faculty and students of the Department of Architecture at the Institute of Urban Technology Management, Mohamed Boudiaf University, M’Sila. As Head of Department, I am honored to be part of a dynamic community where creativity intersects with academic rigor to shape the architects, urban planners, and heritage stakeholders of tomorrow. Our institute is committed to providing exceptional education in architecture, urbanism, and heritage. This education is based on a deep understanding of architectural principles, urban planning, and heritage, as well as artistic sensitivity and the continuous exploration of new trends and technologies. The educational and academic development of students will always be at the forefront of my unwavering efforts and commitment to ensuring quality education and optimal working and learning conditions. I also place great importance on fostering mutual respect and ensuring recognition, training, promotion, and support for both faculty, research, and administrative and technical staff. As Head of the Department of Architecture, I will spare no effort to prepare students throughout their academic careers in the department to master the fundamentals of engineering sciences and their various applications. I will also work, with the assistance of the entire pedagogical team and in conjunction with the institute’s administration, to ensure comprehensive training that will enable students to conduct a variety of contemporary and sustainable architectural designs in most subjects. This will be complemented by field trips and exploratory internships in engineering offices, administrative departments, and companies. These will enhance students’ technical level and provide them with a closer understanding of what is happening within each institution. Excellence, as our goal, can only be achieved through attentive listening, teamwork, responsiveness, and the pooling of skills and performance.
