International Seminar on : Phytodiversity and Plants of Ecological and Economic Interest in Algeria: Inventory, Conservation and Valorisation

The Faculty of Sciences, Department of Natural and Life Sciences, organized an international symposium on October 29-30, 2017, titled “Plant Diversity and Plants of Ecological and Economic Importance in Algeria: Inventory, Conservation, and Valorization.” The main objective of this symposium was to highlight the rich plant diversity found in Algeria, with a focus on documenting various plant species and exploring ways to preserve them, especially in the face of increasing environmental challenges. The symposium also addressed the economic potential of plants, particularly in fields such as sustainable agriculture and pharmaceutical industries. The event brought together a group of experts and scientists to discuss these critical issues and exchange ideas and research that contribute to the preservation and development of this valuable natural heritage.
