National Science Day Events
M’sila University today celebrated National Science Day by organizing a scientific forum under the slogan “Science: The Foundation of Development and Progress in Algeria“. The forum was held in partnership with the Institute of Comprehensive Strategic Studies and included scientific presentations on science, the current state of development, and the thought of scholar Abdelhamid Ben Badis. The forum was attended by a select group of professors and was followed remotely by executives from the National Center for Comprehensive Strategic Studies.
In his speech, M’sila University President Professor Amar Boudelaa stressed the importance of science in the development of peoples and nations, considering the university to be the locomotive of this knowledge, the reservoir of the nation’s minds, and its source of inspiration.
The participating professors focused on the scientific renaissance, which is the foundation for any development and progress. Among the topics discussed were the ideas of scholar Abdelhamid Ben Badis and his visions for the role of science in the advancement of nations, which drew significant attention from the students.
On the sidelines of the event, a tribute was paid to the Director General of the National Institute of Comprehensive Strategic Studies, Professor and researcher and political analyst Khalefallah Ismail, as well as the participating professors.
