Awareness Campaign and Free Screenings for Early Detection of Breast Cancer

As part of Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’sila’s ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and support preventive initiatives, the University Health Center at the main campus hosted this morning an Open Day on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, held under the theme “Early Detection for a Better Tomorrow.”

The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Science – Annex of Medicine, the University Health Center, the Psychological Assistance Center, and the Sub-Directorate for Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, with the participation of the medical staff, mental health specialists, and representatives of the university’s pedagogical and organizational structures.

The event was attended by Dr. Slim Jerboui, Vice-Rector for External Relations, and Dr. Aïd Lamine, Vice-Rector for Development and Foresight, on behalf of the University Rector, Prof. Ammar Boudlâa, along with the Director of the Health Center, the University Secretary-General, administrative officials, and a large number of students. Their active presence reflected the growing awareness of the importance of health prevention within the university community.

The Open Day included medical examinations and direct awareness sessions on early detection methods, in addition to providing medical and psychological guidance for students, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of preventive health and supporting the university community towards a healthier life.
