
Promoting a Culture of Quality: An Awareness Day on the Implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 System at the Faculty of Sciences – University of M’sila

As part of efforts to promote quality and enhance institutional performance, the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Sciences, University of M’sila, organized an awareness day on the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Doctoral Hall B8 of the Pedagogical Complex of Material Sciences.
The event was led by Dr. HOCINE Gana, Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the University of M’sila, and Dr. AHMED Eldjerbi, member of the Quality Assurance Unit and Head of the University–Industry Liaison Office, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Rabah Bounar, and under the supervision of the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty, Prof. Najib Baaji, with the participation of members of the Quality Assurance Unit.
During this awareness day, comprehensive presentations were delivered on the principles of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, highlighting the advantages and benefits of its implementation in the university environment. The role of the University–Industry Liaison Office in supporting and activating ISO 9001:2015 within higher education institutions was also emphasized. The session concluded with an open discussion, during which questions raised by academic and administrative staff were addressed, thereby reinforcing a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Faculty of Sciences.
In conclusion, the Faculty of Sciences extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. HOCINE Gana and Dr. AHMED Eldjerbi for their valuable presentations and scientific contributions, which significantly contributed to the success of this awareness day.
