Scientific Field Trip to the Cedar Forest of Ain Nouq – Bordj Bou Arreridj Province

As part of the applied pedagogical program of the Faculty of Sciences – Department of Natural and Life Sciences, the Master’s students in Urban Ecology carried out a scientific field trip on November 10, 2025, to the Cedar Forest of Ain Nouq in Bordj Bou Arreridj Province.
The aim of this trip was to study the ecological characteristics of the forest ecosystem, identify the local biodiversity, and observe environmental adaptation patterns within this remarkable natural environment.
This activity is part of the faculty’s ongoing effort to strengthen students’ practical skills and bridge theoretical knowledge with field observation, thereby fostering the foundations of scientific research and comprehensive training in the field of environmental sciences.
