Internal Regulations of the Field Training Team Council

Chapter One: Internal Organization of the Council

  1. The Field Training Team Council of the Institute of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences is composed of the following members:

    • Institute Director

    • Assistant Director for Student Affairs

    • Assistant Director for Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research, and External Relations

    • Department Heads

    • Chairman of the Scientific Council

    • Field Training Team Leader

    • Field Training Track Leaders

  2. The Field Training Team Leader presides over the meetings and ensures the proper functioning of the council’s duties.

  3. The Field Training Team Council meets once every two months in a regular session and may meet in an extraordinary session upon request from the Field Training Team Leader or the Institute Director.

  4. The Field Training Team Leader determines the council’s agenda in coordination with the Assistant Director for Studies.

  5. The Assistant Director for Student Affairs is responsible for inviting council members to meetings and maintaining the council’s archive.

  6. The Field Training Team Leader assists the Assistant Director for Student Affairs in gathering the necessary files and documents related to the agenda items.

  7. The Chairman of the council may invite an expert to attend meetings due to their knowledge and scientific expertise in the field.

  8. The Field Training Team Council can replace the Department and Specialization Councils in case they are unable to meet.

  9. Department and Specialization Councils must adhere to the internal regulations of the Field Training Team Council.

  10. In the absence of the Field Training Team Leader, the Institute Director manages the council.


Chapter Two: Duties and Powers of the Field Training Team Council

  1. Propose the pedagogical program for the training tracks (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD) in the field of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.

  2. Ensure that the training offering aligns with pedagogical oversight and the available resources of the institution to ensure the effective delivery of the program.

  3. Prepare pathways between different training tracks to guide students toward different branches and specializations, allowing students to transfer their studies within their own institution or to another institution in line with mobility principles.

  4. Update and evaluate the pedagogical content of the program and tracks according to various teaching formats (lectures, tutorials, practical work, seminars, projects, internships).

  5. Organize and standardize the evaluation methods for different forms of teaching (lectures, tutorials, practical work, seminars, projects, etc.).

  6. Provide recommendations regarding the feasibility of opening, modifying, or suspending training tracks in the field of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD).

  7. Oversee and follow up on the field internships for students and ensure the agreements with various sectors are adhered to.

  8. Propose pedagogical measures for the smooth functioning of the training tracks (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD).

  9. Organize the content of the teaching and the distribution of pedagogical tasks for various forms of teaching (lectures, tutorials, practical work, seminars, projects, internships).

  10. Prepare annual reports on the pedagogical outcomes of the training tracks, which are sent to the University Director, accompanied by the council’s opinions and recommendations.

  11. Provide opinions on any pedagogical matters presented by the department, specialization, department heads, or the Assistant Director for Student Affairs.

  1. The Department of Field Training Team for the Institute of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences consists of the following members:

  2. The Specialization Team for the Institute of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences consists of the following members:

    • Unit Leaders

  11. In the absence of the Field Training Team Leader / Specialization Team Leader, the Department Head manages the council.


Chapter Two: Duties and Powers of the Department / Specialization Team Council

  1. Monitor the pedagogical process of the courses (lectures, tutorials, practical work, continuous assessment).

  2. Ensure that the pedagogical content of the course is in line with the training offering.

  3. Prepare monthly reports on the pedagogical outcomes of the department or specialization, determining the progress percentage, which must be sent to the Assistant Director for Studies via the Department Head.

  4. The Department or Specialization Team must study the pedagogical monitoring reports, which should be sent to the Department Head every month.

  5. Ensure the standardization of the evaluation process for various teaching formats (lectures, practical work, tutorials) between branches and specializations in shared courses, in coordination with the course leaders.

  6. Ensure the mechanisms for organizing the field internships for students.

  7. Propose organizing study days or scientific seminars to improve students’ performance.

  8. Provide opinions on any pedagogical issue presented by the Department Head.

  9. Provide opinions on proposals to open, modify, or close branches for the Department Team and specializations for the Specialization Team.

  10. Distribute pedagogical tasks for various teaching formats and propose leaders for the teaching units (core, exploratory, elective).
