About the Institute
We are pleased to welcome you to the Institute of Physical Activities and Sports Sciences at Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’sila, a scientific institution established in 2010 under Executive Decree No. 10/38 dated 9 Safar 1431 (corresponding to January 25, 2010). This decree amends and supplements Executive Decree No. 01/274 dated 30 Jumada al-Thani 1422 (corresponding to September 18, 2001), which includes the establishment of M’sila University, particularly its first article that defines the number of faculties and institutes that make up M’sila University and their areas of specialization.

Higher education is the foundation of progress and prosperity, achieved through the formation of qualified cadres who carry the banner of advancement and development. Knowledge builds houses without foundations, while ignorance destroys houses of honor and pride. Through this platform, I would like to highlight the tremendous efforts of all parties involved, including the teaching staff, employees, and students. Success is the fruit of everyone’s collective efforts. I also urge our dear students to be more diligent in scientific research, as there is no place for the weak in a world where technological and scientific development is the cornerstone of nations’ prosperity.
Duties of the Deputy Director for Studies:
Ensuring the management and monitoring of student enrollment in undergraduate programs.
Monitoring the progress of educational activities and proposing or taking any necessary action to improve them.
Maintaining the official and statistical student list.
Collecting educational information for students, processing it, and distributing it.

Speech of the Assistant Director
I am very pleased to welcome you to the Institute of Physical Activities and Sports Sciences, specifically to the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research, and External Relations. We are honored by your interest and by your attention to the latest developments and activities undertaken by this directorate, whose main responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the progress of entrance exams for postgraduate programs.
* Taking and suggesting necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of postgraduate training.
* Overseeing the progress and discussion of postgraduate dissertations and university qualification theses.
* Monitoring scientific research activities.
* Initiating partnerships with social and economic sectors.
* Promoting cooperation between national and international universities.
* Implementing programs to improve faculty members’ skills and update their knowledge (including overseas training and scientific events).
* Monitoring research activities (research laboratories, CNEPRU research projects, PNR national research programs).
* Following up on the activities of the Institute’s Scientific Council and maintaining its archives.

Welcome Message
It is my pleasure, through this platform, to extend a warm welcome to all the categories of the university community, including professors, staff, workers, and students, wishing everyone continued success, God willing. We firmly believe that each individual, in their own way, can make a difference and contribute to accelerating the pace of development and progress at our university, even with small efforts, based on their abilities and potential. At the Sub-Directorate of Administration and Finance, with all its departments and staff, we strive to improve and modernize our work performance in various fields to contribute to advancing our institution toward further progress, and to elevate our university to the ranks of the developed universities.
Responsibilities of the Sub-Director of Administration and Finance
The Sub-Directorate of Administration and Finance is entrusted with the following tasks:
Ensuring the management of the career path of the institute’s employees.
Managing and archiving the institute’s documentation and records.
Preparing the institute’s budget project and ensuring its execution.
Promoting cultural and sports activities for students in coordination with the relevant structures of the University Directorate.
Ensuring the management of the institute’s movable and immovable assets and overseeing their maintenance and preservation.
Ensuring the implementation of the institute’s internal security plan.

Executive Decree No. 03-279 dated August 23, 2003, setting out the tasks of the university and the specific rules for its organization and operation.
Executive Decree No. 10-38 dated January 25, 2010, amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 01-274 dated September 18, 2001, which established the University of M’sila.
Order No. 06-03 dated July 15, 2006, containing the general civil service law.
Executive Decree No. 08-130 dated May 3, 2008, containing the specific regulations for the status of the researcher professor.
