Brief introduction

Given the major transformations taking place in sports media in Algeria and the Arab world, as well as the university’s openness to the social and economic environment and its efforts to promote partnerships in the field of sustainable development, there has emerged a pressing need to keep pace with this significant and rapid progress.

In response, the institute — particularly the Departments of Sports Media and Communication, and Sports Management and Administration — has undertaken the establishment of a scientific laboratory dedicated to enriching academic research within the institute.

The laboratory was officially approved under Decision No. 525 dated 11 October 2020 by the Directorate-General for Scientific and Technological Research. Its purpose is to advance the field of sports media in Algeria and to achieve the objectives behind the creation of this scientific entity.

Moreover, the laboratory contributes to enhancing and valuing sports media production in ways that benefit students by developing their media skills and expertise, improving their academic and professional competencies, and raising the performance and quality of media communication.

Brief introduction

The Laboratory of Learning and Motor Control was proposed by the Institute of Science and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities. It is composed of sixteen researchers divided into four research teams.

This laboratory was established as a concrete embodiment of the national policy aimed at promoting scientific research and contributing to national development. To achieve these noble goals, the laboratory works in collaboration with other research laboratories, both within Algeria and abroad, to conduct educational laboratory experiments and research on various topics related to movement sciences and education.

It also provides a research environment that enables specialized professors to carry out diverse scientific studies under optimal conditions and allows postgraduate students at the institute to conduct laboratory experiments under expert supervision.

Furthermore, the laboratory aims to publish a specialized journal in sports research, as well as to organize and participate in conferences, seminars, and study days.

Laboratory of Adapted Physical and Sports Activity Programs

Director of the Laboratory : Boukhars Ramdhane

The code : E1482100

Brief introduction

Achieving the design, development, and adaptation of sports programs that align with the characteristics and specificities of each group requires a solid understanding of the interrelated concepts and terminologies, as well as the precise and objective identification of the goals expected to be achieved through these programs — particularly in the three domains: psychomotor, social-emotional, and cognitive.

This is accomplished through a thorough review of specialized studies and research in the field of physical and sports activities for people with special needs.
