In the distance learning program organized by the UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education, the theme of which is the announcement of the “Global Award for Quality and Excellence in Education.”
In this context, the Center invites all members of the education sector, including individuals, institutions, and experts, to register and attend the introductory workshops listed in the attached table. This award targets all levels of education: general education, university, vocational, and technical.
This award stems from the vision of the UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education to be the trusted regional reference
for the quality and excellence of education, and affirms its mission to provide innovative services to enhance the quality and excellence of education in Arab countries, and to create a pioneering impact through innovative systems, standards, and measures, and sustainable regional and international relations.
In this endeavor, the Center is pleased to announce the Global Award for Quality and Excellence in Education (GAQEE).
This is a benchmark award that contributes to the quality and excellence of education at the regional and global levels. GAQEE seeks to enhance the quality and excellence of education through innovative standards and criteria based on shared human values and effective partnerships to honor outstanding initiatives that contribute to a sustainable impact in education.
The award aims to:
§ Support the mission of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to achieve sustainable development for all in general, and SDG 4 in particular.
§ Support the achievement of the objectives of the Arab Model for Quality and Excellence in Education by honoring the practices and applications that support it, and transferring knowledge by highlighting global best practices that support the quality and excellence of education.
Encouraging unique initiatives that offer innovative solutions to the challenges and crises facing education, to enhance the quality and excellence of education.
Honoring pioneers (institutions and individuals) who have made significant achievements that have contributed to improving the quality and excellence of education.
Therefore, the Center is pleased to invite all your employees, including representatives from the Ministry and other relevant entities, Award Excellence Ambassadors, and potential experts, to be judges for the award. All potential applicants are welcome to apply for the award categories: individuals, institutions, pioneers, and various initiative owners.
