
Highlights from the ISO 9001 Quality Project Training Session
As part of the efforts to enhance the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Project, Mohamed Boudiaf University organized a training session this morning, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Business Incubator located within the university pole.

Event Proceedings
The seminar commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem. The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Mahmoud Hasbaia, Vice-President of the University, who emphasized the vital importance of fostering a culture of quality within the academic environment. Following him, Professor Gana Hocine, Head of the Quality Assurance Cell, delivered a speech highlighting the strategic challenges and stakes of implementing this standard within the university.
A comprehensive presentation was then delivered, defining the ISO quality standard, its primary objectives, and implementation mechanisms. The presentation underscored the necessity of engaging the student as an active partner in bringing this project to fruition.
Discussion and Conclusion
The session concluded with an open floor for discussion, where students and attendees raised questions from various disciplinary perspectives. The event was characterized by high levels of engagement between students and faculty, showcasing the significant role of the ISO standard. It further reaffirmed the university’s commitment to keeping pace with global developments and elevating both its academic and administrative performance.
