
Invitation to attend a scientific meeting on the process of evaluating institutions and accounting and financial governance in Algeria.
Under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Ammar Boudlaa, Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’sila will hold a scientific meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Ibn Al-Haytham Grand Lecture Hall. The meeting will focus on institutional evaluation and accounting and financial governance in Algeria.
The meeting will be led by a distinguished scholar and international expert in accounting, Professor Dr. Aref Salah Eddine, a professor at the University of Grenoble in France, specializing in economics and management sciences.
The Director General of the University Publications Office (OPU), Dr. Zein El Abidine Boumlit, will also be in attendance.
This event is organized as part of the university’s support for scientific activities aimed at promoting academic research and fostering scholarly discussion on current issues related to financial and accounting evaluation and financial governance. In this regard, the meeting will address modern topics in financial and accounting evaluation, focusing on the evaluation of startups and the integration of environmental and social dimensions into business valuation. It will also discuss the specific characteristics of Algerian companies and the practical applications of valuation in light of current technological transformations and economic challenges.
This meeting will also provide an open academic forum for discussion and the exchange of perspectives and experiences, contributing to the enrichment of academic knowledge and raising awareness of the importance of financial governance and modern valuation practices.
On the sidelines of this meeting, a dedicated space will be set up for the sale and signing of academic publications by Professor Dr. Aref Salah Eddine, published by the Office of University Publications (OPU) in November 2025. This initiative aims to encourage academic reading and support scientific research within the university community.
