On the morning of January 25, 2026, the Faculty of Sciences at the University of M’sila hosted the launch of the Doctoral Day activities in Lecture Hall B14. The event was dedicated to PhD students (LMD system and Doctorate in Sciences) from various departments and disciplines.
The scientific meeting was officially opened under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Professor Rabah Bounar, and the Vice-Dean in charge of Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research, and External Relations, Professor Najib Baadji, in the presence of heads of training teams and supervising professors.
This Doctoral Day aims to support PhD students throughout their research journey, promote a culture of constructive scientific discussion, and assess the progress of their research projects as part of their doctoral thesis preparation.
The program included presentation and discussion sessions held in the lobby of the pedagogical complex (Materials Science area), during which doctoral students presented updates on their research progress. These presentations were followed by valuable scientific discussions with supervisors and members of the training teams. Methodological guidance and constructive scientific feedback were provided to help improve the quality of research work and align it with rigorous academic standards.
The organization of this Doctoral Day reflects the commitment of the Vice-Dean’s Office for Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research, and External Relations to supporting scientific research, mentoring doctoral students, and strengthening research training dynamics within the Faculty of Sciences, in line with the University of M’sila’s strategy to enhance scientific output and promote third-cycle education.
