Launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities at M’sila University
The Wali of M’sila (Governor of M’sila), Mr. Nadjm Eddine Tayyar, along with the Rector of M’sila University, Professor Ammar BOUDELA, and in the presence of civil and military authorities, oversaw the inauguration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, which will run until the 24th of this month
In his opening speech, the Wali highlighted the state’s initiatives to encourage youth integration into the world of entrepreneurship by supporting the realization of their ideas on the ground. Professor Ammar BOUDELA, in his address, emphasized the significant role the university plays in cultivating creative students who generate promising ideas contributing to the national economy. He pointed out that the university’s business incubator and Entrepreneurship Development Center are among the most successful initiatives at M’sila University
This morning, the event featured two key presentations. The first, by Professor Aissa GHERROUCHE, Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Center, reviewed the global experiences of startups, highlighting their economic characteristics and detailing the stages of establishing such businesses in Algeria. Meanwhile, Ms. Saridj Rabeh, Director of the Local Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development, explained the new mechanisms for supporting youth business creation in coordination with the university, outlining the process from idea inception to implementation.
The event will also include several lectures by professors and researchers on entrepreneurship, investment, and the economic dimensions of startups within the national economic system
Additionally, the delegation toured the provincial entrepreneurship and startup exhibition, held in the Ibn Al-Haytham lecture hall at the university campus. The exhibition showcased the best innovations by young people and students. The Wali commended all the projects and companies on display, reaffirming the state’s commitment to supporting them as valuable contributors to the nation’s development
