Faculty Library – MI

The library of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science was established with the founding of the faculty, which dates back to the decision made on February 24, 2010. According to this decision, the faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science became an independent faculty after previously being part of the faculty of Science and Engineering.

The library is located on the second floor of the main building of the faculty. Although the library is relatively new, it contains a significant collection of references, books, and dissertations in various languages.

The library building consists of offices for the library manager and library heads, in addition to a large reading hall with a capacity for 158 seats. There is also a hall dedicated to books and dissertations, a section for the lending bank, and another for technical processing.

The library specializes in providing computer facilities for library users to conduct bibliographic research on references.

A team of specialized staff in the field of library and information science, with expertise in the field, ensures the provision of services.

The library utilizes an automated search system (SYNGEB Library Management System) in the processes of processing, indexing, classification, searching, and borrowing books, references, and dissertations.

All documentary resources related to student dissertations in all disciplines have been computerized and digitized.
