In accordance with the previously announced schedule of the University of M’sila, and following the plan outlined by the Ministry of Higher Education, as well as the implementation of its special program for training new PhD students in English, a placement test for the students was conducted today, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The test was supervised by the University President, Professor Ammar Boudelaa, along with the Head of the Monitoring Cell and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Professor Bouderah Ibrahim, the Chairman of the National Committee for Doctoral Training, Professor Ben Yamina Saeed, representing the Ministry, and committee members, Professor Abdelkamel Jouiba and Professor Lynda Laabed El-Wahab, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Languages, Professor Ammar Ben Leqrechi, in addition to the administrative and technical staff.
The test was conducted in normal conditions with the attendance of all students involved in the test, which took place at the Southern University Campus, Faculty of Letters and Languages, Wing K, Entrance 7, in the Language Laboratory. The first group, divided into three sections with 59 students, started at 10:00 AM. The second group, also with 59 students, began at 11:30 AM, and the third group, consisting of 15 students, started at 2:00 PM on the same day. After determining the students’ levels, the course coordinator will form groups based on their English proficiency, and a program tailored to these students will be prepared.
